Chumpon Pinnacle and White Rock – 28th Feb ’11

Chumphon Pinnacle is one of the further flung dive sites but one which divers are more likely to see some big pelagic action.  Its one of the deeper sites too and a favorite for taking students to make the deep dive of the Advanced Course. Harry, Mark, Sigbjourne and Hazel all plunged to 30m and watched what happened to a raw egg yolk under pressure.

Sabrina and Jermie completed the last dives of the Open Water Course too.

Chumphon Pinnacle wasnt as clear as it has been but the visibility was still enough to enjoy the dive.  It was a bit particley but the guys enjoyed around 15m viz.  You can see from the photos below that the deeper portions were a little green and dark though.  The ocean is flat calm and the divers enjoyed an easy cruise in between dive sites.  White Rock had similar conditions to Chumphon.
