Tuesday 11th December
A plastic free day.
If you’re out to buy something today go for the plastic free one instead. Bread from the supermarket? How about buying it fresh from the bakers raped in paper not plastic. Sandwich for lunch? How about making it fresh in the morning instead of from the shop wrapped in plastic.
Wednesday 12th December
Do I really need it?
This was the question we asked ourselves last week, but why is not buying something you want and act of conservation? Consumerism is one of the main factors in driving poverty, global warming, boom bust economy, pollution, ocean acidification, global security, famine, land stripped of it’s natural resources…..I could go on. So ask the question again….’Do I really need it?’
Thursday 13th December
Save the Rainforest from destruction for Palm oils.
Tropical forests are being stripped to make way for Palm oil plantations. A plant that goes into make products we don’t need….take action with the Union of Concerned Scientists petition.
Friday 14th December
Invite some friends around.
A nice friendly one today. Invite some friends around and ask them to unplug everything in the house and only power one house tonight instead of two.
Sunday 16th December
