Weekly Dive Report 23rd – 29th September 2013

This report covers our trips from the 23rd to the 29th September 2013, scroll down to find details of the conditions and the weeks highlights !

This Week’s Conditions

The week started with the tail end of last weeks weather, with some slightly choppy sea conditions and a bit of bad weather. Throughout the week however, the conditions improved greatly and we were treated to some lovely days out on the boat. Underwater we had a mixture of some slightly clouded water, perhaps due to the heavy rain, but also some fantastic days with perfect visibility.

This Week’s Highlights

The highlight of the week has to be yet another Whale Shark, albeit a very brief encounter this time. The gentle giant did a nice pass behind the back of the boat as we jumped in, before heading off into the distance. We also saw this huge Jellyfish hanging in the blue as well as a slightly rarer species of Butterflyfish. We found loads of Moray Eels and huge schools of Yellowtail Barracuda on many dive sites as well as this very well camouflaged Scorpionfish.
