Wednesday 28th November

It’s walk to work Wednesday again…

Why? Well, we want this to be a life choice. The food we eat gives us the energy to cross continents, we can maximise that energy by, riding a bike. The energy required, and the damage done to our environment to move us and a few tons of metal (your car) around are huge.

Thursday 22nd November

Pledge to protect the planet that provides!

Nature is like the Bank of Life. At the moment we keep drawing money out without ever putting any back in. Soon the account is going to be empty and we will have nothing left to live on. Nature is the only one working and topping up the account but we are spending it faster than Nature can earn it. If we let it go bankrupt it won’t have the resources to start again. Nature will live on but it’s children might starve. Take Conservation Internationals pledge to protect the planet that provides…

Monday 12th November

It’s that time to Take 3 for the sea again….

Or, you could take two hands and spend half an hour picking up some rubbish so it doesn’t reach the sea with the twohandsproject…..up to you!  The only way rubbish actually gets taken out of the ocean is when it get’s washed to shore and someone picks it up. Reducing your waste and ensuring proper disposal of waste that you do create is the only way to stop it getting there in the first place. So lend a hand or two for today’s act and let the ocean breath a bit easier….

Thursday 15th November

Help stop the Ocean going bankrupt…

The Ocean is like a bank yet at the moment we keep drawing money out and not putting anything in to keep the balance nice and healthy. If we carry on we will soon be bankrupt. Want to know what the Colonel’s secret recipe is? He chops down the rainforest to make his boxes….
