..it is just a great bunch of people that makes you feel extremely save and relaxed from the minute you walk into their shop. After all, isn't that what a dive shop should be about? Everybody seems to be extremely passionate about what they do, they really seem to enjoy it and they want you to have the same kind of fun and develop the same passion for diving that they have. Like Phil said during the scuba review: Nothing in diving is about forcing anything. I also liked their engagement for mother nature (check out the 'I will survive' clip!!!!). And of course their sense of humor (Rhapsody). All in all, I could summarize it in the words: I wouldn't change a thing...
Koh Tao Rating:

It's a nice place to hide away and relax. However, I missed a couple of 'original' restaurants (especially seafood and local cuisine). In some corners it was a bit to focussed on western tourists (back packers). Then again, having a sundowner drink at Fizz was great fun...

We liked the atmosphere at the diving school. We felt save and very welcome! We dived with our kids (13 and 11 years old)and WIlco was very patient, respectfull en gave very clear intstructions.

It felt like paradise! Its a relaxed island. We would have liked to stay longer.

John was a fantastic instructor for my advanced open water course, and all of the staff from Master Diver's were just fun and fantastic. I was impressed that you guys were really taking care of things down there, picking up rubbish from the reefs and really trying to educate people. Thanks for the fantastic time!

It's inexpensive, laid back, great diving and snorkelling. What more can you ask for?

It's all so friendly, flexible and easy. I think that from my conversations with other students and touring divers on the island, Master Divers has the finest instructors and a depth of knowledge beyond just performing PADI instruction like the numerous other dive centers on Koh Tao. Furthermore, the non-instructor staff are really lovely. They are very accommodating and knowledgeable about equipment, safety, dive sites and the rest of the island. I really do recommend them highly.
Koh Tao Rating:
Well it's an island dedicated to diving, socializing and relaxing. Excellent food, especially if you avoid some of the bigger tourist traps. Take care on the roads with those scooters and mopeds. Consider shoes and a helmet...

The people were friendly, I was made to feel very at home, and made some very good friends in a very short space of time. I don't need to say anything else, other than I miss the guys a lot already and will certainly be back!
Koh Tao Rating:
It is a truly beautiful island for diving, it is very friendly for foreigners as there are many people who speak excellent English, and the delicious Thai food is very reasonably priced.

Just to point out that I travelled here alone, and my stay was made much easier and more enjoyable by the staff including me in their evening activities, being very friendly and helping me with everything I needed!

It was relaxed and friendly and there seemed to be a community thing going on which was ideal for me as i had just spent the past six weeks travelling round Thailand on my own and not making any friends! Also I loved the bar for after diving.
Koh Tao Rating:
Um, it was cheap. It was beautiful sometimes. The locals were cool and I actually got to interact with them a lot because I saw them everyday. It was very cool to be invited to their children's birthday bashes, etc. You can dive pretty cheap there and dive as much as you like. I also love Thai food so was very happy from that point of view. Good night life too. Oh, and I met my fella there!

Good safety procedures, good equipment and flexibility on fun dives.
Koh Tao Rating:
We stayed on a quiet secluded part of the island. Perfect weather and lovely people. Snorkelling good as well as diving. Saw a reef shark snorkelling.

Master Divers Rating:
A family atmosphere and a new diving experience every day, and a 100% safety record. The rescue diving scenarios make you cry and laugh at the same time (as part of the Rescue Diver course - Ed.), it was great theatre - carry on making it fun for everyone.
Koh Tao Rating:
Everyones idea of a paradise island like in the movie 'The Beach'. Something for everyone at all price points.

Friendly, professional, good shop, good location (we stayed in Sensi Paradise). They followed all the procedures and paperwork, that gave us a very safe feeling. The followup after the diving was great, certificate, logbook, etc. All in all, a great experience.
Koh Tao Rating:
Enough to do and see and yet off the beaten track.
