where to start?

Learning to dive

Even if you have never dived before, getting to Instructor level will take you around 7 months – which is far quicker than re-training for any other career.

Your first certification is the PADI Open Water Diver course, followed by the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, and then the PADI Rescue Diver course and Emergency First Response course. At this level you are ready to enter the course for your first professional level – that of PADI Divemaster.
Following completion of the PADI Divemaster course you can enter the Instructor Development Course (IDC) this culminates with an Instructor Exam (IE), which when you pass, certifies you as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.  If you are short on time or cash or just want to get more experience before committing to the IDC then you can become a  PADI Assistant Instructor.

description

padi divemaster

This is the first professional level in diving.  Divemasters organise dive activities for those already certified.  Divemasters may lead divers, showing them the underwater sights safely.  They can refresh the skills and techniques of divers who haven’t dived for a while and they can assist instructors teaching courses.  Divemasters ensure the logistics and planning run smoothly and safely. This is your first step into a whole new way of life.

Instructor training

Instructors teach!  Sharing your passion for diving by passing on your knowledge to new divers makes every day special.   Watching a new diver master techniques and encountering underwater marvels for the first time gives you such an extraordinary pleasure, you’ll wonder why you haven’t been doing it for years.  This is true job satisfaction.
