With over a decade of diving under his belt, Gaz has now been in Koh Tao for over eight years. Initially visiting from sunny Coventry for a short diving break, he has now made a career out of the sport he loves so much. As Master Divers SSI Instructor Trainer, Gaz is dedicated to providing a comprehensive and high quality service to divers across all courses.

“I remember I was very wary of my first Scuba Diving experience but after learning the skills & completing my SSI Open Water Diver certification I loved it & continued straight into my Advanced Adventurer Course. I continued to build my confidence by diving as much as I could as I travelled around & eventually ended up on Koh Tao where I turned professional & have never looked back”.

Gaz brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his teaching roles, having worked as a Divemaster and underwater videographer before completing his instructor training courses. As an IMCA Dive Medic Technician spending two years managing a hyperbaric chamber facility, his technical and scientific understanding of scuba diving is also exceptional.

Gaz’s scuba experience is varied, having dived in a variety of climates and conditions across Asia, Australasia and Africa. In his spare time he enjoys movies, music and as a qualified personal trainer, prides himself on keeping fit.
