PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer

Ever since he was young, Thomas’s life revolved around the sea and its wonders. He started at a very young age exploring rock pools in the northwest of Ireland, where each summer he would go looking for marine life. From there he moved onto snorkelling before progressing to scuba diving in his early 20s. From the very beginning all he could do is count the hours until it was time to get back in the water each weekend. He knew very quickly that he loved the water and wanted to know more about the eco system and how he could train himself to dive in many different areas. In 2014 this dream became a reality when he made his way to Koh Tao, and he was not disappointed!

Thomas is well known for his critter spotting abilities, and his knowledge of marine life and the underwater ecosystem itself is amazing. So feel free to ask him questions about anything from coral spawning to the life of a pearl fish (you could start with ‘where does a pearl fish live?’… go on, we dare you!), but make sure you’re not in a rush to get away as he will happily spout marine facts for hours on end to anyone willing to listen!

When not teaching or geeking out with Jason in our workshop fixing and servicing equipment, Thomas is working on his Tec diving skills and qualifications. So watch this space for more exciting courses available as his resume expands!
