Over this 4- dive course you will learn, practice and master:
- Navigation patterns.
- Natural navigation (without a compass).
- Compass navigation.
- How to “mark” or relocate a submerged object or position from the surface.
- Underwater map making.
- Dive site relocation.
- How to estimate distance underwater.
By the end of the course you should feel more comfortable underwater and have aquired all the tools, skills and knowledge which for the basis of a master navigator.

prerequisites
To take this course, you must be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organisation) and at least 10 years old.
schedule
The typical PADI Underwater Navigator Speciality course schedule is completed in 2 days. Each morning will start with a knowledge development and skills practice session which will prepare you for the afternoon's diving. The course includes 3 dives but if you have completed your PADI Advanced Open Water course then this can be credited towards your Speciality - this means that you only have to complete 2 dives, and the course will be slightly cheaper!

The course includes all the elements required for completion: your own copy of the PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty manual, internationally recognised PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty certification card, full equipment hire and boat fees, high quality instruction from experienced and qualified instructors, tea, coffee, water and light refreshments on the boat and collection from the pier upon arrival if required.

A PADI Master Scuba Diver is a highly accomplished diver - this is the highest rating a non professional can achieve and as such, you will be held in high esteem. To qualify you need to be a PADI Rescue Diver, with 50 logged dives and qualifications in five specialities.
