White Rock – 10th June’11

As Paulina and Gilbert head towards completing their Open Water we venture out on the longtail to White Rock for Open Water Dive 3. Very quickly they had become confident  and were buzzing to get back into the water after the previous days successes. The conditions at the moment are still pretty much perfect with 20-25m viz from 0-18m down however there was a bit of a thermocline below us.  As always at this dive site, there were fish everywhere. But some exciting encounters were the sheer quantity of Blue Spotted Rays, several sightings of the Copper Banded Beaked Coral Butterflyfish, and a very relaxed looking Anemone Shrimp. Congratulations to Paulina and Gilbert again, and let’s hope these conditions continue.
