padi tec trimix 65 course
This course introduces the benefits of using Helium in your gas mix.
Helium replaces not only some of the oxygen but also the nitrogen. This reduces your reaction to the narcosis caused by nitrogen but also allows you to dive deeper – beyond the toxicity levels imposed by the level of oxygen in air.
This course will qualify you to dive to a maximum depth of 65m using any Trimix blend that has an oxygen content of 18% or more. It is an intermediary level between PADI Tec Trimix Diver and PADI Tec 50 or PADI Tec Deep but not a compulsory step, if you have the time then you can skip straight to PADI Tec Trimix Diver.
You will:
• Plan and execute at least five trimix decompression dives using various trimix blends• Use decompression software to create custom dive tables and dive plans
• Make training dives as deep as 65 metres/210 feet
Price 50,000 THB |

To take this course, you must be a PADI Rescue Diver (or hold a qualifying certification from another organization and having proof of CPR and first aid training with the previous two years), be certified as a PADI Tec 50 (or hold a qualifying certification from another organization) or PADI Tec Deep, be at least 18 years old, have logged at least 100 dives and have a medical statement signed by your physician.
schedule
While it is possible to complete this course locally, it will only give you experience of the minimum depths possible to attain certification. We don’t believe this is the best experience that we can offer you and would prefer to teach this course during one of the scheduled deep wreck liveaboard trips that leave throughout the year. This will not only show you some of the most amazing wreck sites but will enable you to soak up the invaluable experienced of veteran tech divers onboard. Contact us for more details.
what's included?
The course includes your own copy of the PADI Tec Trimix Manual and internationally recognised card, full equipment hire, gas and high quality instruction from experienced and qualified instructors. Contact us to discuss your dive choice with this course.
Most divers choose to take this course onboard one of the tec diving liveaboards and make sure that they use the opportunity to visit the world famous USS Lagarto, discovered by our very own Jamie Macleod. The discovery was so note worthy that many magazine wanted her story within their pages. Ayesha has been responsible for the writing and photography of the majority of features :- Lagartos Lament for Scuba Diver Australasia, Sub Vision off Koh Tao for Diver UK and she made is into Sport Divers 100 Essential Wreck Dives too.
we can also offer you a selection of discounted accommodation which you can take a look at here.
