This is a fantastic way to experience Koh Tao scuba diving for the first-time and see if you enjoy it.
What to Expect on your first scuba dive:
- No certification needed for this one-day experience.

Your Day Includes:
- Morning: A simple safety briefing in our classroom.
- Lunch: A break to relax and refuel.
- Afternoon: Boat trip to amazing dive sites around Koh Tao.
- Skills practice in shallow water.
- One or two dives on stunning reefs.
- See incredible marine life up close! Many highly recommend this experience.
Important Note:
- Discover Scuba Diving is not an open water course and doesn’t give you a diving certification.

Our dive center in Koh Tao Thailand is ready to help you explore the amazing underwater realm!
Usually we start in the morning with a safety briefing followed by selecting the correct diving equipment for you. We will then break for lunch and meet later to catch the boat to head off to a shallow bay. Once there, you will learn some basic scuba skills and enjoy a dive on SCUBA in shallow water. You will have the opportunity to make a second dive should you wish.
We like to take a day for your experience but if you are on a tight schedule, we can also complete it in just a half a day.
We include everything you will need to make this experience fun and safe:
- Small groups of up to a maximum of 2 participants per Instructor
- Full equipment hire and boat fees
- High quality instruction from our experienced instructors
- Private instruction available
- Tea, coffee, water and light refreshments on the boat
- Tea, coffee, water and Wifi use in the dive centre
PAYMENT – Deposit is non-refundable. Balance of payment due upon arrival. Should you wish to make a second dive then this is an extra 1,000THB, you can book this now or decide on the day.
PREREQUISITES – To take the PADI Discover Scuba Diving, you must be at least 10 years old.
MEDICAL – There are certain medical conditions like asthma and heart conditions which may prevent you from diving. Please read the medical statement and let us know if any of the conditions listed on the form apply to you or any of your group prior to making a booking.
FLYING AFTER DIVING – Please note when booking your holiday and transport that you should have at least 24 hours in between your last dive and flying.
BEFORE BOOKING – Our team work hard to provide a safe, fun, efficient and well organized dive centre. We work hard to ensure your dive experience is a positive one. With this in mind, before booking, please read through the policies we have developed to help us ensure your time with us goes as smoothly as possible. Please note that the dive centre is closed 1st January, 14th April & 25th December. If any of these dates fall into your intended travel dates, please contact us first before booking.
