The PADI Rescue Diver course is normally taught over three days, with knowledge development completed in morning classroom sessions and the rescue training sessions and open water rescue scenarios completed across the 3 afternoons on one of our dive boats.

If you need to complete EFR, this will take an additional half-day.

PREREQUISITES – To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must be 15 years or older, have a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organisation) and be trained and current for First Aid and CPR within the previous 2 years. If not, the Emergency First Response course can be arranged as a one day course through Master Divers. This is valid for all First Aid situations covering scenarios, beyond what you might encounter in dive situations, and is valid for 2 years.

MEDICAL – There are certain medical conditions like asthma and heart conditions which may prevent you from diving. Please read the medical statement and let us know if any of the conditions listed on the form apply to you or any of your group prior to making a booking.

FLYING AFTER DIVING – Please note when booking your holiday and transport that you should have at least 24 hours in between your last dive and flying.

BEFORE BOOKING – Our team work hard to provide a safe, fun, efficient and well organized dive centre. We work hard to ensure your dive experience is a positive one. With this in mind, before booking, please read through the policies we have developed to help us ensure your time with us goes as smoothly as possible.
